“Jenny has been a hard working dog all her life and at 11 I had accepted her lack of mobility as normal wear and tear . I think Jenny had accepted it too and seemed content to just plod. After she had her first myotherapy session with Angela she was rejuvenated. Not just physically but mentally, she became more interested in everything around her, just like the old Jenny. She’s enjoying having good walks with my other dogs and will give a rabbit a run for its money again, not only is she physically able but she wants to run and chase. She had become unable to get into the car but now she gets in and out with relative ease, even after a walk.. She’s always pleased to see Angela and has a way of telling her if she is a bit sore somewhere and Angela has such a natural empathy with animals that she knows exactly what Jen is telling her. Angela also showed me ways in which I could help Jenny in between her therapy sessions.

I am also aware that post operatively dogs can become depressed or withdrawn and I’m sure myotherapy would help in some post op cases, both mentally as well as physically. ”

“My 4 year old mini wire haired dacshund is full of beans! She has no major muscular skeletal issues but I like her to see Angela every couple of months. She loves her sessions and Angela is able to check for and address any areas of tension. Being aware of the vulnerability of these lively dogs to back problems I am anxious to maintain the best possible muscle tone and balance to support her spine.”
