Canine Massage Diploma

We run a high level Galen Massage Diploma. The units within this Galen diploma are accredited by the OCN at Level 3 which consists of both in-depth theory and practical modules. This course has now been running extremely successfully for 5 years producing many highly skilled pratitioners that are working alongside Veterinary Surgeons and other clinical canine professionals.

This course has been acknowledged by many Veterinary Surgeons as a highly credible course that will produce well qualified referral pratitioners performing excellent clinical canine massage.

Attendees to the course receive one-to-one tuition from experts in their field. The accreditation achieved can then be used to practice as a Canine Massage Practitioner.
The course is intended for anyone, regardless of their previous educational background, who is dedicated about working with dogs and therefore prepared to study hard to gain a credible and high standard accreditation.

Your tutor for the theory and practical sections of the course will be predominantly lead consultant Julia Robertson. Julia not only tutors but also has an extremely busy and successful practice working with dogs of all ages, plus a variety of conditions and activities. She also is the author of two books, one being co-authored with a Veterinary Surgeon (due publish date) October 2010 called ‘Canine Massage and Physical Therapy’ and the due to be published in July 2010 called ‘The Complete Manual of Canine Massage’. Julia also is a feature writed on The Dog World magazine.

You will also have seminars and practical training by a top human Physical Therapist and Veterinary Surgeon.

Graduates have the opportunity of joining the Galen team when they are offered the opportunity to join C.A.A.M. The Canine Association of Accredited Myotherapist; a fully validated professional body specifically for Canine Myotherapist professionals, giving further accepted credibility to their practice.

Post graduate course development is now also available, Advanced Techniques and Canine Exercise Physiology. More informaton is available upon request.
