Sheree Doughty

Duke suffered a spinal injury which initially left him paralysed in his back legs. Following emergency treatment at Queen Elizabeth’s Veterinary Hospital, he slowly began to walk again.

He underwent a course of Hydrotherapy at Animal Ark Veterinary Centre in Essex who suggested Duke might benefit from Myotherapy Treatment. Duke is a typical German Shepherd, very vocal, and considering what he had been through, a nervous dog.

From day one Caroline put both me and my dog at ease. Duke loved the treatment and after only a few sessions, his stance was much higher, movement in his hind legs improved and he could wag his tail! I felt hope for the first time in three months that Duke had a chance of living a normal life.

Caroline’s care, professionalism and above all her understanding of Duke and his condition gave me much needed hope when I feared I was going to lose my best friend Duke.

Invaluable – that’s what Galen has been to me an my dog. Thank you.
