Jasper is a hard working gun dog who has led an active life spent running and retrieving game. However, over the years conformational issues combined with his occupational injuries started to take its toll and he began to become increasingly lame and was finding it difficult to work. The Come Back Kid
Yogi is affectionately known as the ‘Come Back Kid’ at the Galen Therapy Centre.
In 2005 he suffered a near fatal accident, but thanks to his and his owner Lisa’s total determination to pull through, he has now recovered fully and back taking part in Agility competitions, which he loves. Click here to read the full story...
The Magic of Myotherapy
Rafiki is a 6 year old Springador who became
increasingly inactive and didn’t respond to
anti-inflammatories.
When she arrived at Galen she couldn’t even sit properly and it was breaking her family’s heart. The good news is after a few treatments she made a full recovery. Owner Ann says “The change is just one treatment was amazing…we have our wonderful fun loving dog back!”

Fit for a King
A lovely King Charles Cavalier called Toby had an unusual posture and increasing lameness. Thanks to Galen Myotherapy®, Julia Robertson, Head Practitioner at Galen, was able to pinpoint several regions of discomfort and use this safe therapy to return him to good health.
