Rafiki (meaning friend) is a 6 year Springador and over a period of 10 months she had become gradually less and less active. At first they thought it was a cruiate and then she was put on anti-inflammatories, but they had no effect. On a visit to the White Orchid Hydrotherapy Pool (Tel: 01798 815191) in West Sussex, her owner, Ann, was also recommended to bring her to the Galen Therapy Centre.

When Rafiki first arrived she looked miserable and found it difficult to stand and when she tried to sit her back legs projected through her front legs at a 45 degree angle. It was breaking her family’s heart and they didn’t know what to do.

The great news is that after just two treatments the difference was very visible in both her stance and her face and she is making her way to a full recovery with a definite improvement in her disposition and mobility.

Owner Ann says, “The change in just ONE treatment was amazing and now she is getting better and better and we have our wonderful fun loving dog back!”
