With her background of human as well as both Canine and Equine sports and Human Sports and Remedial massage, Julia has always worked with animals both as a Veterinary Nurse and, for most of her life as an active working partner on a large dairy farm.

She was aware for many years that there was a gap in animal health care, then after her Labrador puppy lost mobility in his neck and was recommended to be put down, she actively sought an equine physiotherapist who explained that it was probably a soft tissue injury and recommended massage. That was ten years ago and since that time Julia has dedicated her life and study to Canine Massage and to helping dogs across the UK and the world. Her greatest inspiration was her Newfoundland Panda who died aged 15, having enjoyed a full, active and healthy muscular life.
