- Ring a Galen Myotherapist and discuss your dog and how they may be able to help.
- Make an appointment for you to visit or have a home visit.
- Your therapist will then ask request veterinary consent for your dog to be seen (The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966). Once the consent has been received you will then progress to the next point.
- Your dog will then be treated and you will be given subsequent instructions and a demonstration on how you can help to maintain the treatment.
- You will have a discussion with your therapist about the treatment protocol and approximately how many treatments will be necessary and what other alternatives are there available to aid your dogs recovery and performance.
- You can make your following appointment after you are happy your dog has progressed.
- When the treatment has finished your veterinary surgeon will receive a written report from your therapist.
