A Galen Myotherapist® also educates and guides the handler to develop a greater understanding of their dog and provide them with a customised Home Recovery Programme (HRP), which is a combination of simple massage techniques and functional remedial therapy.
The treatment also provides a ‘hands on’ check on the dog’s ‘global’ muscular condition identifying areas of adhesions, scarring and a lack of integrity within the muscular system that could lead to further hitherto undiscovered potential problems.
